Geely Galaxy E5 and EX5: price, version and charging checks
Clarify the E5 or EX5 version, range standard and charging equipment before requesting an electric SUV export quote.

Separate the name from the specification
Geely identifies the EX5 as developed from the China-market Galaxy E5. This relationship does not make all market versions identical. Specify Galaxy E5, its model year and full trim for China sourcing. The EX5 EM-i name refers to a separate plug-in hybrid offer; it is not proof that an E5 is hybrid.
Read the range label with the version
Record the stated range, test cycle and battery capacity together. Do not compare a CLTC figure with a WLTP figure as though they were measured alike. Current China versions and earlier overseas versions can have different equipment; use one dated specification source for each vehicle.
Verify charging on the offered vehicle
Request clear photos of the charging inlet and a written AC/DC specification for the exact version. Tell the team which charging network or equipment your buyers use. Have the charging equipment provider check compatibility, including communication and electrical requirements; a connector adapter alone does not establish a complete solution.
Build a dealer-ready enquiry
Include trim, quantity, colours, destination and charging requirements. List interface language, phone connectivity and cabin features that your customers require. Ask for a vehicle-specific price and service scope. Use gallery and panorama images as version-labelled references, then reconcile them with the equipment list.
Questions, answered.
Is an EX5 brochure sufficient to order a Chinese Galaxy E5?
No. Confirm the exact China version, model year, charging equipment and software functions.
Can different range standards be compared directly?
No. Keep the test cycle and vehicle version visible alongside each range figure.
